Nova Rock 2025 with Slipknot, Iggy Pop, Wanda, Idles and more June 11 to 14, 2025, Pannonia Fields, Nickelsdorf
A few bands have that New Rock already announced for 2025 at the end of the 2024 edition of the festival: Big names, well-known names and maybe an insider tip too: Lorna Shore, Slipknot, Electric Call and Wanda He will be playing between June 11 and 14 at the Pannonia Fields near Nickelsdorf in Burgenland. Now the next wave of artists is here and here it is again: top stars and insider tips, happy people and new artists to discover.
Biggest star first: Iggy Pop come to Nova Rock. One of the godfathers of punk, I Wanna Be Your Dogs, Passengers, Lust for Life, zipping around the stage like a Tasmanian devil, Iggy shows one show worth going to Pannonia Fields. Live always very good to excellent.

You can do that too Idle say, everyone who has been to a concert by the British band knows this. Idles is quality rock’n’roll with attitude, sometimes they even cover “My Heart Will Go On”, which fits well with Nova Rock anyway, in rock terms. Otherwise sing out of the category, or better yet, shout out: KoRn. Recently, the band around Jonathan Davis proved again at the Austrian shows that they can still do all this very well. The greatest hits, Davis in full swing and of course the good old pipes. Are you ready!?
The band can be ranked close to KoRn in terms of time Kitty. For some people it is already expected because songs like this used to be so great “Paperdoll” heard, for many this is only now (late) discovery. Great band, he gets high on guitar. Nova Rock has a bit of hip-hop (always): Alligator and Green there are already two names.
And two more insider tips, maybe more: first VOWWS. The duo from Los Angeles were recently in Austria with Chino Moreno (Deftones) and his Crosses project. Their album features people like Chino, but also Chelsea Wolfe and Gary Numan, and they also cover Britney Spears. They also tour with the musician Poppy – and Poppy may be one of the biggest clues to the coming Nova Rock.
The fictional character Moriah Pereira is a subversive take on meme culture. Poppy became famous for her unusual music videos or clips where she repeats her own name for a minute while posing as a robot in front of a white background. Now this is noise, distortion and the best combination of bubblegum pop and metal. Poppy is not just an artist that you would otherwise travel far for, from June 11 to 14 the project, like many other musical proposals, is coming to Austria. And of course FM4 will be there again at the Pannonia Fields for you and yours.
