Participating in the event “Les IndustriELLES du Maroc” organized by Industrie du Maroc Magazine as part of the 6th edition of the annual event “Les Matinées de l’Industrie”, Ms. Benmakhlouf highlighted the Technopark initiatives which exempt , for thousands of women, specific programs, and mentoring workshops to support them in their entrepreneurial journey.
The speaker on the panel on the inspiring journeys of women leaders in the economic and industrial sphere also mentioned the New development model which aims for ambitious objectives in terms of women’s activity rate and representation within companies, with figures aiming for 45% of female activities by 2035, compared to 20% currently.
Ms. Benmakhlouf also highlighted the importance of advanced regionalization and its commitment to talented young people in landlocked regions, highlighting the ingenuity of young Moroccans and their potential for innovation, resilience and impact that they can provided with adequate support.
For her part, the general director of Nestlé Maroc, Imane Zaoui, recalled the importance of creating more flexible work environments, capable of supporting women throughout their professional and personal journey.
To promote professional equality, Ms. Zaoui recommended the creation of work environments offering greater flexibility, adapted to the different periods of women’s lives. This approach would make it easier for women to reconcile their professional and personal lives, while continuing to progress in their careers.
In this regard, Ms. Zaoui insisted on the role of sponsors in the advancement of women in business. These sponsors play a key role in promoting talented women, providing them with growth opportunities and supporting them in their rise to leadership positions.
For her part, the General Director of Reminex – Engineering, R&D and Project Management, Naoual Zine, shared profound thoughts on the importance of women taking charge of their own path to progress. “It’s essential for women to feel comfortable being uncomfortable because it encourages them to explore unexpected aspects of themselves,” she said.
He added that “in a complex and innovative environment, the ability to solve complex problems and demonstrate creativity is crucial, and comfort with discomfort is a major success trait.”
Ms. Zine also emphasized the importance for women to believe in their skills and legitimacy, while fully assuming their femininity and feminine values. For her, a woman who asserts herself in this way is a real asset for any company seeking to promote diversity and stimulate innovation and collective performance.
In summary, Ms. Zine said she was convinced that women have the power to shape their own destiny, and that it is by becoming the architects of their future that they can contribute significantly to the development of the Kingdom.
