Midwest Games and Permanent Way Entertainment present their action/adventure title during the Xbox Partner Preview
The legend of Baboo is an epic action-adventure game about a boy and his dog, developed by Permanent Way Entertainment and published by Midwest Games. It was announced in the Xbox Partner Preview and will be released in 2025 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Inspired by fairy tales passed down from generation to generation, The Legend of Baboo puts players on a harrowing quest to save a family of children from the mystical forces of an ancient evil. During the journey, play as the young protagonist Sepehr and his adorable dog Baboo, using the power of their bond to save the people and place he loves most.
Use Sepehrés’ magical staff, claws, and Baboo’s super barking ability to battle demonic invaders, including otherworldly boss encounters. Swim, jump, climb and ride Baboo through enchanting and breathtaking environments. Solve puzzles and advance through perilous challenges across black forests, choppy waters, cursed deserts and frozen lands.
Main features
Both Sepehr and Baboo have an RPG-inspired skill tree to enhance offensive and defensive abilities in combat, along with unlockable abilities. Customize Baboo with various outfits and decorations earned during your journey to make the faithful companion look his best. Defeated bosses will unlock special magical attacks, which consume mana but eliminate large hordes of enemies. Equip your favorite special attacks to create a build that fits your playstyle. Play at the difficulty level that best suits your needs: easy, medium or hard mode.
