(Rozeena Ali) Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said in his Twitter message that the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court has rejected the petition filed against the 26th constitutional amendment.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the decision of the Sindh High Court is a shock to the poor petitioners which I have never seen before. The lawyers were appearing to have failed miserably.

The Sindh High Court’s judgment said that the petitioners failed to state which article binds the government to fulfill their demand while seeking any permission to legislate under Articles 70 to 77 of the Constitution. There is no need.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said in his message that the Sindh High Court’s decision is a shame for the so-called lawyers who have filed the same type of petitions in different courts, these lawyers have become so accustomed to the sacred cow doctrine. He said in his tweet that he really believes that our constitution and law allow parliament to stop before legislation, saying that no one should pay attention to the opinions of these so-called lawyers on judicial reforms.
