Three preferential votes – Berchtold and Waibel kicked colleagues out of state parliament

On Tuesday evening, not only did the preferential votes come in, but – after the remaining voting cards had been counted – the provisional official results of the state elections also came in: The ÖVP got 38.3 percent (15 seats) and so there is it is clearly ahead of the FPÖ, which has 28 percent (eleven mandates) in second place. It is followed by the Greens with 12.43 percent (four mandates), the SPÖ with 9.06 percent (three mandates) and the NEOS with 8.93 percent (three mandates). The number of voters was 68.11 percent.
