Bhopal: Even though the Election Commission has not announced the dates for the by-elections of two assembly constituencies in Madhya Pradesh, the activity of political parties has increased. Leaders are visiting and workers are being activated.
In fact, there are two assembly constituencies in the state, Budhni and Vijaypur, where the MLAs have resigned from their membership. By-elections are scheduled to be held at both these places in the coming time. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who was MLA from Budhni, has been elected MP from Vidisha parliamentary constituency, while Congress MLA from Vijaypur Assembly Ramniwas Rawat has joined BJP. Rawat is currently the Forest Minister in the Mohan Yadav government.
Jitu Patwari active in elections
Both BJP and Congress parties have intensified preparations for the by-elections of these two assembly constituencies in the state. Election in-charge has also been appointed by Congress and migration of leaders has also started. Recently, Congress state president Jitu Patwari visited Vijaypur and accused defector Ramniwas Rawat of expecting tribals. On the other hand, BJP is activating the leaders through its membership campaign. Many big leaders have also visited Vijaypur and Budhni. Meetings of workers are being held and they are also being given the message to remain active.
Discussion of Shivraj’s son
Brainstorming regarding candidates is going on in both the political parties. Out of these two assembly constituencies, it is almost certain that Ramniwas Rawat will be the BJP candidate for Vijaypur, because he has left Congress and joined BJP. At the same time, Congress has to search for a new face. If we talk about Budhni, many names are emerging for the BJP candidate from there. Apart from Ramakant Bhargava, the name of Shivraj’s son Kartikeya Singh Chauhan is included in them. Here too, Congress is planning to bet on a new face.
The royal procession of Lord Mahakal came out on the day of Dussehra, there is a tradition of worshiping this special tree since time immemorial.
Preparations of both parties intensified
Political analysts believe that by-elections are easier for the ruling party. Something similar happened in the recent by-election in Amarwada assembly seat of Chhindwara district in the state and Kamlesh Singh, who left Congress and joined BJP, was elected. Both BJP and Congress will use their full strength in these elections and efforts will also be made to make the elections interesting. Overall, these by-elections will be very important for the state government led by Mohan Yadav.
