10,562 new flags were raised in the country in the month of February as part of Kuwait National Liberation Day celebrations. The Department of Public Relations of Kuwait Municipality revealed that 214 new flagpoles were installed as part of this. The flags were installed by the Decoration Work Monitoring Team.
Ahmed Al Bakhit, an official of the decoration work team, said that all the damaged flags on the main roads have been replaced and new ones have been installed.
This figure is in addition to the free standing signs in front of houses and establishments. As part of the celebrations, flags and decorations were put up in most parts of the country in February.
