The main reason why activities in the establishments were suspended was the lack of documentation that proves their legal operation: permits, opening declaration license, etc.

As‍ a second cause, the‍ operation of the establishment‍ was identified in a‌ different direction than permitted, since some businesses had permission to sell food, but sold⁢ alcoholic beverages, the mayor’s office detailed.

In addition, some other establishments endangered people’s safety by not complying ‌with the Commercial Establishments Law in⁣ force for CDMX.

Just last Thursday, elements of the Auxiliary Police (PA) arrested a man who posed as personnel of the district, in order ‍to collect alleged ⁣fees from businesses to continue providing service.
