The main reason why activities in the establishments were suspended was the lack of documentation that proves their legal operation: permits, opening declaration license, etc.
As a second cause, the operation of the establishment was identified in a different direction than permitted, since some businesses had permission to sell food, but sold alcoholic beverages, the mayor’s office detailed.
In addition, some other establishments endangered people’s safety by not complying with the Commercial Establishments Law in force for CDMX.
Just last Thursday, elements of the Auxiliary Police (PA) arrested a man who posed as personnel of the district, in order to collect alleged fees from businesses to continue providing service.
