(24News) The Islamabad High Court once again stopped the trial court from pronouncing the final verdict in the 190 pounds case against PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the acquittal pleas of PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the £190 million case. And prosecutor Amjad Parvez appeared in the court.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq inquired that there is only one reference? On which the prosecutor Amjad Pervez said that the reference is the same, the punishments for both the accused have been separated.
The Chief Justice asked Amjad Parvez that where has the trial reached? Amjad Pervaiz replied that the interrogation is going on, since 20th, 25th they are interrogating the investigating officer, the trial of the 190 million pound case is in the final stages.
Usman Gul said that Bushra Bibi’s health was not good yesterday, so she did not go to the trial, on which the court remarked that do not delay unnecessarily, the rest of the cross-examination is up to them when they complete it.
Imran Khan’s lawyer said that the last witness of this case is being cross-examined, if the trial is completed, we will be technically knocked out.
Later, the court adjourned the case for 10 days while maintaining the order restraining the trial court from passing the final judgment.
