(Mubasher Hussain) A fire broke out due to cylinder explosion during gas refilling in an LPG shop located in a residential building in Federal B area of Karachi, 2 people in the shop were burnt to death.
According to the details, an explosion occurred during gas refilling in the LPG shop located in Saghir Center residential building in Federal B Area Block No. 16 last night.
According to the police, the explosion occurred due to the leakage of the cylinder. According to the eyewitnesses, this cylinder shop had been established in Qaim Sagheer Center for six months.
After several flats of the residential building were filled with smoke due to the fire, women and children came out of the flats.
Due to traffic jam on Rashid Minhas Road due to fire, queues of vehicles were formed on the road from Gulshan Iqbal towards Sohrab Goth.

According to the police, during the same period, the residents of the area also filed several complaints against the owners of these cylinder shops. Eyewitnesses say that we also suspected that they did not have any certified letter of the cylinder shop, due to the cylinder explosion. There was a light sound and the incident of fire occurred, the rescue cooling process continued for 3 hours, 4 fire brigade vehicles reached the accident site and the fire could be controlled only after hours of cooling process.
