Ola, which has always maintained the number one position in the Indian electric vehicle market, has been active in its sales since its inception. It has been almost a year since the launch of the electric scooter, and till now it has been gaining popularity among the people. Ola, which dominates the sale of not only budget-priced but also premium electric scooters, sold 10,000 scooters a month. In this case, it has set a record by selling 20 thousand electric scooters in the last 3 months.
Last month, Aether sold 7234 scooters and TVS sold a total of 10,000 iCube scooters. According to the company’s CEO Bavish Agarwal, people have started trusting electric vehicles as an alternative to petrol vehicles. Ola will now try to bring growth in other segments as well. By 2025, the two-wheeler industry in India will be entirely electric,” he said.

Electric vehicle sales now account for 92 percent of the market for premium scooters, up from just 36 percent in 2021. In this segment there is stiff competition between Ola, Aether, Okinawa, Okaya, TVS and Ampere. Apart from this, Ola has so far established 50 Experience Centers in India. It is expected to open 200 experience centers across India soon.

Apart from electric scooters, Ola will soon launch the Ola Electric Car. With this, Ola’s sales are expected to increase several times. It is said that this growth of Ola can grow to the extent of selling 50 thousand scooters per month by the end of next year.
