Health affairs in Taif Governorate are now dealing with a traffic accident involving a bus carrying more than 23 people of Arab nationality on the road between Taif and Turbah.
According to preliminary information, two people were killed in the accident, and 7 others were transferred to critical condition, including one who was transported by plane to Taif hospitals.
Where the hospitals of Turbah Governorate, King Faisal Medical Center in Taif, King Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital and Prince Sultan declared a state of emergency and kept a number of hospitals on alert to receive infected cases.
And Taif Health revealed that the number of cases is 23, including 7 serious red cases, 10 medium yellow cases, 4 normal green cases, and two deaths.
In addition, 3 red cases and one yellow case were transferred to Prince Sultan Hospital, while 4 red cases and 6 yellow cases were transferred to King Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital, one of them through air evacuation.
And 3 yellow cases were transferred to the King Faisal Complex.
While Taif Health was supported by the Department of Emergency and Disaster and Ambulance Transport with 7 ambulance teams in addition to the field leadership, and readiness was raised in Prince Sultan Hospital, the Specialist Hospital, and the King and Turaba Complex.
