The accident happened on Monday when a motorist hit seven tourists at high speed on a sidewalk in Playa Blanca.
Behind the wheel was a 23-year-old British woman who was under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Two parties were rammed by the car. One was a British family with an infant, her parents and grandparents.
The infant died in the accident and her father and grandmother were seriously injured.
The other party were two Swedish women, who had just arrived at the resort.

The Foreign Ministry has previously confirmed that a Swedish woman in her 30s and a Swedish woman in her 55s, both from Vรคstra Gรถtaland, were injured in the accident,
