Speaking in the meeting, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the 26th constitutional amendment was approved by the parliament with a two-thirds majority. He said that the cases of the common man have been pending in the courts for years, justice is not being served, the constitution bench will provide convenience to the common man, an agreement was signed between Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif in 2006. is also a fulfillment and a testimony to the truth of this vision, still long consultations were held with all political leaders on this amendment, after tireless work and consultation every constitutional provision was discussed and the draft was approved.
He said that the 26th constitutional amendment will prove to be very effective and positive for the development, prosperity and stability of Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif said that there was a detailed discussion with Maulana Fazlur Rahman about the amendment, MQM leader, ANP and all political parties also consulted on this amendment, all political parties supported individually and individually, in the Senate.
