Meanwhile, she got involved in a case. So while she was in jail, she went into labor and called the jail staff several times from her cell to inform about it. But they never picked up the phone. They picked up the phone after two and a half hours. They then took her to the hospital in an ambulance. The County Board of Supervisors then decided to compensate her. The Orange County Board of Supervisors approved the settlement of the complaint by paying this amount.
