/ The Iraqi Football Federation announced, on Monday, the matches of the second round of the Women’s Football Clubs League in open arenas.
Member of the Football Association and head of the Women’s Committee, Rasha Talib, told Agency, “The second round of the Iraqi Women’s League will start next Friday with three matches in Baghdad, Dohuk, and Kirkuk.”
She added, “The Air Force Stadium will be the stage for the match between the Air Force team and its guest, the Shahraban team, while the University of Dohuk stadium will bring together the match between the Al-Badir team and the Amanat Baghdad club team, and the match between the home team, the North Oil team and its guest, the Fatat Baghdad team, will be held at the North Naft Stadium.”
Talib explained, “The committee, in coordination with the referees’ committee, named the refereeing teams that will manage the matches, and also secured all the organizational aspects so that the three matches would go out in the best possible way.”
It is noteworthy that the North Oil team was crowned champion of the Women’s Outdoor League last season, after defeating the Nineveh Girl team by seven goals to one, in the final match that was held at Al-Shaab International Stadium.
