3 more Azerbaijani boxers won the world championship

The Youth World Boxing Championship continues in Budva, Montenegro.

As reported by İdman.biz, on the second day of the World Championship, three more athletes of the Azerbaijani national team left the ring as winners.

Bilalhabashi Nazarov, competing in the up to 48 kg category, met Yasur Taalaibek Uulu (Kyrgyzstan) in the 1/16 finals. Our boxer, who completed all 3 rounds in his favor, won with a score of 5:0. He will meet Jair Bonilla (Ecuador), who passed the first round in the 1/8 finals.

Omar Aslanly (54 kg) also defeated his opponent in the debut. He showed his strength against Cuban Alejandro Sanchez in the 1/16 finals. Our boxer, who won all 3 rounds, eventually won a convincing victory – 5:0 (30:26, 30:25, 30:26, 30:26, 30:27). Aslanly will hold his second fight against Bairzhan Muratov (Kazakhstan).

Ziya Hasanov (71 kg) reached the 1/16 finals. He knocked out Paul Nevallo (Trinidad and Tobago). Since the opponent was disqualified in the third round, Gasanov was declared the winner. The national team member will meet with Igor Bondar (Moldova), exempt from the first round.

Note that the world championship will end on October 3.
