4.8 Richter earthquake in Turkey – Felt in Kastellorizo

Earthquake magnitude 4.8 occurred at noon on Sunday (10/3) in Turkey, while it was felt until Kastelorizo.

According to the European Geodynamic Institute, the focal depth of the earthquake was 21 kilometers and its epicenter was 20 kilometers South-Southeast of the Demre region of Antalya.

In accordance with CNN Turk, Interior Minister Ali Gerlikaya informed on social media that “special teams are in the area to carry out checks, however so far no problems have been detected. We are closely monitoring the developments.”
