In a major step forward for national security, the President of the Republic has just signed a historic decree integrating 47 new police commissioners. As reported by 237online.com, this 2022-2024 promotion resulting from the 2021 direct competition represents a turning point in the modernization of Cameroonian law enforcement.

Brilliant profiles who embody excellence

This new wave of commissioners perfectly reflects the diversity of Cameroon. With nearly 30% women, including Andeme Alo’o Agnes Lionelle and Mouasso Matambo Fabiola Leopoldine, this promotion marks a significant step forward towards parity in senior police positions.

A new lease of life for national security

These new commissioners, integrated into the 1st level with the index 530, will considerably strengthen the operational capacities of the Cameroonian police. Their training at the National Police School prepared them for contemporary security challenges.

« This promotion represents the excellence of our police training,” says a senior officer who prefers to remain anonymous. “These young commissioners bring a new dynamism that our police force needs. »

The integration ceremony, effective since July 11, 2024, marks the start of a new era for Cameroonian national security, with young and motivated executives ready to serve the nation.
