The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported through social networks that 50 arrest warrants were issued against a structure dedicated to illegal human trafficking.
“During the early hours of the morning, the FGR, in coordination with the PNC, issued 50 arrest warrants against a structure dedicated to illegal human trafficking,” the Prosecutor’s Office announced through its post in X.
According to the investigations, these individuals charged up to 16 thousand dollars to take the victims to the United States using the borders of El Poy, Chalatenango and Metapán, Santa Ana Norte.
Among those captured are: Roger Alfredo Flores Alvarenga, an assistant prosecutor who collaborated with the criminal structure, David Eduardo Linares Linares, Gerardo de Jesús Consuegra Orellana, Emerson Ulises Arriaza Ortega and Daniel Reyes.
“Among the places that were raided was a hotel located on the highway to Comalapa, which was used to house victims who had paid to travel illegally,” said the FGR.
