The Callisto Protocol

Glen Schofield, the creator of the “Breakthrough Dimension” series, returned to his old business after founding the game development studio Striking Distance Studios to create a new sci-fi survival horror game “The Callisto Protocol”.

The Callisto Protocol is set in 2320, Jupiter’s “dead moon”: Callisto. The game’s protagonist, Jacob Lee, is a prisoner in the Dark Iron Prison. A mysterious epidemic has thrown Callisto into chaos, forcing him to fight for survival. As jailers and prisoners begin to mutate into terrifying creatures called Biophages, Jacob must fight to survive the horrors of the Dark Iron Prison and uncover the dark secrets of the United Jupiter Company.

To bring the world of The Callisto Protocol to life, the development team used a program called “Terrorist Engineering” to create unforgettable horror stories. Since the protagonist is not a soldier, every encounter with an enemy is a life-and-death battle. Ammo, health, and weapons are all at a premium, and players will have to scour the Dark Iron Prison for everything that can come in handy to get through. The Callisto Protocol will be available globally on PS5 and PS4 on December 2, 2022.
