jpnn.comJAKARTA – Threads is starting trials for its newest feature which allows users to archive uploads manually, or automatically when set within a certain time period.
Like on Instagram, the archive feature in Threads can hide uploads, so they cannot be seen by the public and are only available to users.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri, said the feature would be available to a limited number of users to start with.
Mosseri once expressed his preference that all posts on Threads should be automatically archived after a certain period of time.
“I think we should all move towards automatically archiving posts in Threads within a month or so,” Mosseri said.
However, users responded to the upload in a vote stating they did not want their uploads to be automatically hidden from the public.
Therefore, Mosseri stated that the upload archiving feature will be presented as optional.
