Danny Abediah returned to the floor tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday) after two games, when he finished with seven points in 20 minutes, including a clutch performance and a block on Judd Embiid at the end on the way to Washington’s 111:116 victory over Philadelphia, which held the streak of Eight wins before the match.
The Israeli’s coach, Wes Anseld Jrspoke about Danny Avdia: “It was a huge move. We had two of those – also for Monte Morris. Back injuries are always tricks. I saw him training in the morning and I was a little worried about his ability to be physical, but I think he was good.”
Avdia finished with 2-for-4 from the field, 1-for-1 from beyond the arc and 2-for-2 from the line, which also closed the story. He added three rebounds and an important block on Embiid with 24 seconds left. The Sixers star scored 48 points which were not enough for his team to win a ninth in a row.
