A Russian soldier from Siberia (Russia) has died after a fight at a training camp for servicemen taking part in the Russian offensive in Ukraine. According to the Taiga outlet, the facts are produced in a camp in the village of Kalininets, in the region of Moscow64 kilometers from the Russian capital. According to eyewitnesses, one of the recruits wanted to go to the store to rest, something that the superior command considered a “violation of the statutes”, and was beaten by company agents and the military police.
A witness cited by Taiga who wanted to remain anonymous explained to said media outlet that “when everyone was standing in the yard of guns at sunset, the reconnaissance company attacked the ordered artillery battalions”. The source added that it “nearly ended in a massive knife and stick fight.” The victim, a man hired by the Russian Army, would have died on July 9 in the hospital. According to Sibir.Realii, the unit involved was 31134, the 15th motorized regiment of the Taman division.
The military prosecutor’s office received a statement, and “there are strong suspicions that want to silence him.” The 72nd Military Prosecutor’s Office assured Russian media that this week there were no fatal fights and promised to clarify the information later.
The same media pointed out this July that nine Siberian combatants have died in recent months, among them mobilized. One of them would have been called up after Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced that the mobilization had ended.
