President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine intends to break through the defenses of the Russian occupiers at the front. He admitted that the counter-offensive is slow, but it is important not to stop.
Currently, the Ukrainian military has the initiative on the battlefield and is gradually moving forward. Vladimir Zelensky stated this in an interview with CBS.
According to him, it is already known where the Ukrainian armed forces will be able to powerfully break through Russian defenses. Zelensky assured that this will definitely happen.
“Yes, everyone wants us to break through the defense lines. We really want this. Not an easy path. It will happen, I’m sure of it. And I can’t say where it will be faster. I can’t say this, I don’t want to share information, sorry, because I know where we are going to break through and break through powerfully,” Zelensky said.
However, he added that this is not an easy path, given that there are 200 thousand Russians in eastern Ukraine alone.
“This is a difficult situation. I’ll be completely honest with you. We have an initiative. That’s a plus. We stopped the Russian offensive and launched a counteroffensive.
