/ Al-Zawraa Club team will meet its host, Al-Arabi Al-Kuwaiti, on Monday, in the fifth round of the third group of the AFC Cup.
A member of the club’s management, team supervisor, Abdul Karim Abdel Razzaq, told Agency, “The team is ready for today’s match and has prepared well to face Al Arabi Kuwait and is prepared from the technical, physical and psychological aspects, especially after its Egyptian coach, Hossam El Badry, joined the delegation, who left the team for reasons.” He had an emergency after his mother suffered a stroke, to check on her, and he returned to Kuwait to be near the players.”
He explained, “Our first goal is to secure the three points and return to Baghdad,” adding, “We do not look at the accounts of the absences that the Al-Arabi team will witness due to injuries, and we will play to win only, even if Al-Arabi players are absent or not absent.”
Abdul Razzaq continued, “We do not see any decline in the level of the Al-Arabi team recently in the Kuwaiti League after the injuries of its players in the last rounds, and we will focus on winning only, regardless of all accounts.”
He stated, “Our players are optimistic about a positive result today for the lead we are planning for, especially since our next match is against the Bahraini leaders, Al-Riffa, which will be in Basra, and the ground staff and the public will serve us.”
