Today, Monday, the National Security Service announced the arrest of 35 people belonging to the “Qurbani” movement in four governorates.
The agency said in a statement received by the (INA): “The National Security Service continues to monitor and follow up on deviant behavioral movements and the dangers they pose to society, especially the Qurbani movement.” According to confirmed intelligence information, the detachments of our agency were able to identify new elements belonging to this group. Movement in 4 governorates.
He added, “Accordingly, and after obtaining judicial approvals, our agency in the governorates of (Wasit, Al-Muthanna, Basra, and Dhi Qar) was able to arrest (35) people from the ‘Qurbanis’, to refer them to the competent authorities and take the necessary measures against them.”
At the beginning of last July, our agency announced the infiltration of this movement, which is also called (Al-Ali Allahiyya), as its members promote deviant ideas, summed up by drawing lots, and whoever is chosen commits suicide by hanging.
