jpnn.com – MALANG – The results of the recapitulation carried out by the General Election Commission (KPU) show that the candidate pair for governor-deputy governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa-Emil Elestianto Dardak, was accomplished in the Greater Malang area.
The greater Malang area covers Malang City, Batu City and Malang Regency. Based on the recapitulation of votes in Malang Regency, this pair won 715,176 votes.
“The results of the vote count at the Malang Regency level which we carried out on Wednesday, December 4 2024 evening, the results were that pair number 2 reached 715,176 votes, pair number 3 reached 346,803 votes, and pair number 1 reached 123,899 votes,” said Malang Regency KPU Commissioner Marhaendra Pramudya mahardika in Malang, Thursday (5/12).
In Malang Regency, the Khofifah-Emil pair was able to win in 33 sub-districts. The distribution of votes for pair number 2 was mostly obtained from Singosari District with a total of 45,516 votes, Pakis District with 37,276 votes, and Dampit District with 34,451 votes.
A similar thing also happened in the Malang City area, the candidate pair for governor and Deputy Governor of East Java supported by 15 political parties collected a total of 205,529 votes.
Simultaneously occurring, Tri Rismaharini-Zahrul Azhar Asumta with 174,417 votes was in second place and Luluk Nur hamidah-Lukmanul Khakhim was in third place, winning 32,157 votes.
The recapitulation carried out by the Malang City KPU, on Tuesday, December 3 2024, showed that the incumbent pair was able to win in five sub-districts throughout the local region.
The pair obtained the most votes from kedungkandang District with 51,141 votes and Sukun district with 48,511 votes.
The Malang City KPU has submitted the recapitulation results of the East Java Regional Election,on Wednesday,December 4 2024.
Furthermore, in Batu city Khofifah-emil were also the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor with the most votes.
Based on the results of the city level vote count carried out by the Batu City KPU, on Monday, December 2 2024, Khofifah-Emil won 70,898 votes.
For Batu city, the pair Tri Rismaharini-Zahrul Azhar Asumta came in second with 48,725 votes and Luluk Nur Hamidah-Lukmanul Khaim came in third with 9,947 votes.
The votes came from three sub-districts in Batu City. The Khofifah-Emil pair received the most votes from Batu District, reaching 30,777 votes.
Batu City KPU Commissioner Thomi Rusdiyanto said the vote counting results for the East Java Pilkada ballot papers had been submitted to the provincial KPU today.
“It was handed over to the East Java KPU at around 15.30 WIB,” he said.
Separately, East Java Province KPU Commissioner Choirul Umam said that his party received the submission of recapitulation results from all KPUs in Greater Malang.
“We have received all the results of the city district level recapitulation for Greater Malang. Implementation at the provincial level will be held on December 8-9 2024,” said Choirul. (Antara/jpnn)
