We’ve been there several times his ‍balls At the Vetró‍ family,⁤ their yard shines with fantastic lighting during the advent⁣ period – these are the lights ⁣of christmas. Our visit this time was different:⁢ my photographer colleague Csaba Karnok and I thought we had⁣ already⁢ arrived, ⁢but we didn’t. ⁤In the area, 10-15 houses, ⁣gates, and yards are‍ dressed ‌in lights, perhaps the “most Christmassy” part of our county.

For the sake of ⁢the‌ children

– We started twenty-six years ⁤ago,‌ when⁢ the⁤ children⁢ were still small, and none ‍of them were even born. it all started ⁤for their own sake, and year by year the decorations and decorative lighting became more and more. I like to do it – the originator, Kata Vetróné, started ‍our conversation, mentioning that she is happy that⁢ more and more people ‌are following her example, and that holiday lights are lit almost everywhere ‌in ⁤the neighborhood. “It’s good for my soul,” ‍he⁤ added. Two of the children help her⁣ to this day, 32-year-old Dávid and 21-year-old Máté – 29-year-old Lilla lives in England – ⁤and she can also count on her husband, László, who went up to the roof this⁤ year as well, “it’s true, I had ⁣to court him a bit”.

Balástya, the village of Christmas

– I’m serious, it’s worth visiting Balástya, there are more and more beautiful, tasteful decorative lights; and in our neighborhood, at Fecske Street,⁣ such houses touch each other - said Kata, a manicurist and pedicurist in ⁣civilian clothes. In the meantime, we walked and visited every part of ‍the fairytale world created in⁤ the courtyard. Many people go there: they arrive on ⁤foot, by bicycle⁢ and by car.⁤ There was also⁤ a four-wheeled Christmas tree from the latter, with rows of ⁤lights lined up everywhere.Kata suddenly changed the subject: “I ran three half-marathons this year, I’m proud of myself, health is‍ significant,” she declared.

– how has the community in Balástya participated‍ in the⁤ Christmas light display over the years?
