This enables users to make calls, send text messages, and trigger SOS alerts directly from the wrist via the 24/7 staffed Garmin Response coordination center without carrying a smartphone. LTE connectivity also powers LiveTrack notifications through the Garmin Messenger app, allowing loved ones to follow along during training sessions.
