It was during a gala evening on Friday December 8, 2023 that the 10th edition of Pingre Kuni or Peace Trophies in Burkina Faso was held. The event hosted by the Bark Pousgo structure brought together several personalities and structures working for peace and social justice.
10 years of experience, recognition is the key word of promoter Théodore Bamogo known as Bamos Théo. “ We have reached 10 years, I want the Burkinabè people to understand the meaning of Pingre Kuni. The Pingre Kuni are the politics of a good cause.
It is to reward men and women, or associations who work in the right direction for the country. Men and women who are examples in their communities, associations which are examples and which work for the progress of the country,” suggested Bamos Théo, the promoter of Pingre Kuni.

For the selection and designation of the Pingre Kuni winners, a committee of experts observes the actions taken in favor of peace throughout the year. « Those who are rewarded are people who do not insult people, people who do not incite hatred or disorder. A total of twenty trophies were offered to the winners in several categories combined. Social, health, education, culture, etc. These different winners come from several regions of Burkina Faso.
The young gospel artist Anna Simporé was rewarded for her commitment against incivism through her songs. “ This is the second trophy that I received in this year 2023; it means a lot to me, for my career “, she suggested.
