The candidate to take over “Loko” (Pd) – the businessman Ivan Pashov, came out with an open letter to the majority owner of the club Hristo Krusharski and to the entire “black and white” community, with which he expressed his readiness to help the club after Krusharski announced the suspension of funding in turn.
Pashov announced his readiness to acquire Krusharski’s shares and invited him to a meeting.
Here is the full text of the open letter.
“Dear supporters of PFC Lokomotiv (Plovdiv),
Dear Mr. Hristo Georgiev Krusharski,
With this open letter, I am addressing you directly, in view of the desire and will to lend a hand to the club, as well as to be an active part of the black and white football community in the city of Plovdiv, already expressed by me last week.
The numerous media publications, interviews and statements of both Mr. Krusharski and other persons directly involved and connected with “Lokomotiv” (Plovdiv) incited and provoked various reactions and emotions in everyone who cares for the idea, the cause, the ideals, the history and traditions of the club. As a person who has been sculpted, disciplined and grew up with sports since early childhood, I myself could not remain indifferent to the future and fate of “Lokomotiv” (Plovdiv).
Despite my statement to the Plovdiv media last week and my stated real interest in buying the shares and developing the club in the future, at the moment I have not received any feedback or proposals for a meeting from the football club or personally from Mr. Krusharsky.
Hristo Georgiev Krusharski, in his capacity as the actual and majority owner of the capital of shares.
I express my willingness to engage qualified specialists to audit and evaluate the economic and financial indicators of the club, with the aim of bringing maximum clarity to negotiations and reaching mutually acceptable conditions for the eventual acquisition of ownership of the capital.
I express my desire to restore stability and tranquility in the club, to invest my determination, entrepreneurship, funds and energy, to create a field for development and lasting progress both for the benefit of the institution PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv and for all those who are inextricably connected with black – the white idea.
Dear Mr. Krusharski,
I sincerely hope that this letter will start a fruitful and constructive dialogue between us, with which we will be able to establish the real legal, financial and economic status of the club, the possibilities of purchasing the shares you own and the exit of PFC “Lokomotiv” (Plovdiv ) to new glorious moments in the history of the club, part of which is your name in capital letters, especially on the eve of the approaching 100th anniversary of the football club.
I assure you that the investment intentions I stated are permanent and are aimed at the development, well-being and progress of the club.
I hope that in view of your publicly stated categorical position that you wish to sell your shares in, I will meet with your cooperation and the invitation to hold a meeting and start the conversations and negotiations between us will be honored, indicating when and where it is convenient for you to meet.
I express my willingness to have my personal legal advisor, Adv. Nikola Ivanov Shopov, as well as Adv. Stefan Svetoslavov Petrov – managing partner from the team of the Demerdzhiev, Petrov and Baev Law Firm – the company that I have chosen as the leading company to carry out the necessary study of the club’s legal and financial status, which study should form the basis of a large part of the questions related to my investment intentions to purchase the shares.”
