A cardiologist reveals two signs that a stroke is imminent

Al-Marsad newspaper: Russian doctor Yaroslav Ashikhmin, a cardiologist, announced that severe headaches and high blood pressure may indicate the imminence of a heart attack or stroke.

He says, “A stroke may be preceded by a severe headache. Therefore, in this case, the blood pressure level must be monitored. If it is higher than 140/90 mm. A column of mercury, it indicates a serious condition.”

The specialist notes, according to “Novosti” agency, that myocardial infarction and stroke usually affect smokers and people who suffer from overweight, obesity and high blood pressure. It is recommended to monitor the level of cholesterol in the blood, to avoid heart problems due to blockage of blood vessels.

According to him, it is necessary to undergo annual medical examinations and receive the necessary treatment, in order to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke.
