The ninth grader asks how the girl’s life can be left in the hands of 14-15-year-olds – only they reacted immediately
Her blood pressure just dropped, the class escorted her to the doctor’s office. And then she even wanted to go to physical education, according to the capital’s 22nd high school
A ninth-grader from the capital’s elite 22nd school made an accusation against a teacher that she remained completely indifferent to a fainting girl in her class. Neda Radilova’s Facebook post provoked the reactions of nearly 180 teenagers and parents, but mostly stressed children and teachers at the “Georgi Rakovski” SEU, who were trying to clarify what exactly happened. This is what the author of the post told emotionally on Tuesday evening:
Behind the high scores, Instagram profiles, and tons of ads are teachers who don’t care enough about our well-being, leaving us to fend for ourselves while they focus primarily on grades and their own comfort.
…I had my first geography class today and it started with the usual five minute test. During the test, the girl in front of me was raising her hand. After about two minutes, the lady picked her up. My classmate asked to go to the nurse because she wasn’t feeling well, she was told, “Oh, come on, since it’s so urgent to stop the test,” with a huge irony in her tone.
Then, according to her story, the girl tried to get up, but fell to the ground. The class reacted immediately – they supported her head, two ran to call the nurse, and others went to get water and something sweet. The lady was looking at her phone, says the ninth grader.

To see a CHILD on the ground unconscious and not render any help is inhumane. The nurse came, took her blood and, with the help of some of the boys in the class, got to the medical office. Then the teacher said to us “What should I do, we still have a lesson to learn”. The whole class was speechless by this act of hers. At the end of the class, her last words were “I don’t know if you saw, but I was very worried.” Neda finishes her story. And turns to the teacher: There is a person in need of urgent medical assistance, and you do not react, hwhat? What will you tell the parents? What are you teaching us? What example are you giving us? Besides teaching us, you are responsible for us. During these 40 minutes, you are like a parent to us. Am I wrong? Today we learned a life lesson.
The children told the class that the teacher was very scared, said the director Elena Karpacheva.
“His child has absolutely nothing, and this writing is a complete insinuation against the school. It’s a pity that attention is paid, but we live in an impure century”, she commented to “24 Chasa”. The principal has not yet made a firm decision on whether there should be any punishment for the teacher. The case
will be considered by the committee in school ethics
The principal confirmed that his child had become ill during class. The class teacher was notified, she was with him at the doctor’s office. His blood pressure had dropped, but he was fine and said he wanted to go play physical the next class.
The class escorted him to the gym. Even yesterday (on Tuesday) his child had nothing, added Elena Karpacheva. And he recalled that the 22nd school is famous for discipline and order.
“You see what kind of things come out in the media – about whom not. So, I can’t stop them from writing on Facebook or posting on Tik Tok. That can’t happen. Their free time is theirs.
I can only limit the evils, replicating – and it is the very truth that the child is fine”,
she also said. He emphasized that the girl was under the control of the management all the time. “That’s how it felt. So it decided, it wrote it. They are at an age where they are very emotional. If someone cuts their finger and blood comes out, they already panic. That’s why we’re here – to quell the tension”, the director said categorically.

Colleagues know – I do not condone violations, but these are insinuations
– What do you say about the case, Mrs. Karpacheva?
– I think these are malicious insinuations. I have requested a report from the geography teacher about what happened and a report from the class teacher.
– If there is a violation, will there be a penalty?
– There will be, of course. With me, there are always punishments, I don’t forgive anyone for violations. However, I do not punish based on stories and hearsay, only on written traces and evidence. With 1,600 students, if I don’t react immediately, it’s just going to be anarchy here. The 22nd celebrates discipline and order. And thanks to the fact that colleagues know that there is no forgiveness.
– Who has an interest in defaming you?
– When a school or an organization comes forward and continues to maintain a level, there was always someone who said: Let’s tarnish it now, it can’t be that good. And that’s nice.
