A happy announcement for farmers – Urea price cut recently…!

The Ministry of Agriculture has issued a happy announcement to the farmers in Sri Lanka.

This means that the private sector fertilizer importers have promised to reduce the prices of urea fertilizer bags with immediate effect.

Accordingly, the price of a 50 kg bag of urea fertilizer will be reduced from 18,500 rupees to 11,000 rupees, said Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera.
