This Saturday morning, the doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque were reopened, after the Israeli occupation authorities closed them yesterday, Friday, against the backdrop of an attempt by a Palestinian youth to stab an Israeli police officer.
Following the incident, which ended with the killing of the attacker at the hands of the occupation police, Israeli security evacuated Al-Aqsa of the worshipers, forcing hundreds of Palestinians to perform the Maghrib and Isha prayers in the vicinity of Lions Gate.
In turn, the Palestinian presidency demanded the necessity of stopping all Israeli measures in Al-Aqsa Mosque, warning against evacuating it and expelling employees.
Yesterday, Friday, dozens of occupation police officers raided the home of the attacker, Ahmed Mahameed, a 30-year-old father of two sons, in the city of Umm al-Fahm, and began investigating his family.
