During the Innoprom exhibition, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Minister of Industry Denis Manturov and General Director of PJSC “United Aircraft Corporation” (UAC) Yuri Slyusar signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of the aviation industry in the territory of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow”.
The timing of the project and investment in the construction of the plant in the message of the mayor’s office are not specified. What components for the MS-21 will be produced at the site in Rudnevo is also not mentioned. MS-21 is being developed by the Irkut Corporation (part of the UAC). In January 2019, the government allocated 10.5 billion rubles for the creation, production and maintenance of these aircraft.
