At the next, XX session of the Karaganda regional maslikhat, the regional budget for 2025–2027 was approved. The main financial document remains socially oriented, reports Akimat of Karaganda region.
As the head of the finance department Lyudmila Basharina reported, 64.1% of the total expenditures are planned to be allocated to education, healthcare, culture, sports, implementation of youth policy and other areas of the social sphere. 21.1% is allocated for the advancement of the real sector of the economy.
Targeted transfers and budget loans are allocated from the republican budget of the region.
“Due to these funds, the implementation of projects in the field of development of heat, water and gas supply, transport infrastructure, and construction of social facilities will continue. The project to increase the incomes of the rural population and lending to investment projects in the agro-industrial complex will continue to be scaled up,” noted Lyudmila Basharina. “the budget presented is socially oriented, covers all sectors of the economy and focuses on cost-effective programs.”
Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev emphasized that the priorities remain to improve the quality of life and improve the well-being of the population.
“The presented regional budget is focused on fulfilling all social obligations of the state, as well as on the enduring development of the economy.The President of the country approved the National Development Plan of the country until 2029. We are faced with the task of ensuring economic growth of at least 3.7% by 2026.The key goal invariably remains to increase the well-being of the population and improve living conditions,” said the head of the region.
