Muhammad Habush, a young man in his 20s, was run over to death this evening (Monday) while working in the village of Zelfa in Wadi Ara, apparently after falling from a garbage truck while working, and the driver did not notice and when he drove back hit him and fatally wounded him.
Habush, a resident of Nablus, was taken to Haemek Hospital in Afula, but was later pronounced dead. Relatives said they were updated on this by acquaintances, and that at first they were told he was hit by a truck and not killed. “Overall he went out in the morning to support the family. He works very hard and in the end came back to us lifeless,” they said.
Traffic inspectors from the Menashe area at the police arrived at the scene and began investigating the circumstances of the accident. The driver was detained for questioning at the space test unit.
