Al-Ruwaidi said in a statement obtained by the (INA): “The genocidal war that is going on in the Palestinian territories in general and in the Gaza Strip in particular aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause and prevent the Palestinian people . for their right to exercise freedom and independence and to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.”
He added, “The brutal Zionist attack is not only directed at people, but also extends to the destruction of infrastructure and worsens the humanitarian situation, because the occupation has not only bombed and killed civilians and mutilated their bodies, but that she starved them and cut them all of their means of life, making the Gaza Strip a graveyard for the living.”
Al-Ruwadi continued, according to the statement, “the priorities of the State of Palestine at this stage are:
1. A comprehensive and complete cessation of the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, the introduction of humanitarian aid to implement Resolution (2735 of the Security Council), ensuring international protection for the Palestinian people, and enabling the State of Palestine to assume his responsibilities. The Gaza Strip to exercise its full sovereignty over it, including managing the crossings, and declaring a complete Withdrawal from the Zionist occupation, refusing to annex or extract any part of it, and stopping the forced displacement of its population.
2. Implement the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice and emphasize the imposition of sanctions on the occupying state, as specified in the General Assembly Resolution (A /RES/ES-10L 24), and emphasizing its the importance of holding international peace. a conference within a year under the auspices of the United Nations to resolve all remaining issues.
3. To protect international organizations, especially UNRWA, in light of its dismantling and ending its work in the region by classifying it as a terrorist organization, targeting its buildings and employees, and cutting its funding, emphasizing without being replaced. and ensure that it receives permanent and sustainable insurance until the refugees return to their homes.
4. Activating Chapter Seven of the United Nations Charter, which specifies the adoption of coercive measures such as the activation of military force and the severance of diplomatic relations to achieve urgent and comprehensive peace in the region, which also specifies the provision of international peacekeeping forces to decide from the Security Council. to ensure the security of both states.
5. Use international support to achieve full membership in the United Nations.
6. To impose the authority of the Palestinian government and the Palestine Liberation Organization on the Palestinian land established in accordance with international legitimacy, namely the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem, and prepare to hold Palestinian elections.
7. To implement and support the Palestinian Government in its program based on 4 axes: national unity, financial and economic sustainability, reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, strengthening the Palestinian institution and reforming what needs to be reformed.
He said that “what is needed is quick and urgent action to end the conflict, not manage it, because we cannot leave the matter until the time comes when the parties ready to negotiate.”
He expressed his “thanks to all the friendly countries that stood with the Palestinian people to stop this terrible crime committed against them and aimed at their annihilation,” giving “special thanks to the Iraqi presidency , for the government and people of Iraq, which came from day one. The Zionist attack on Gaza stood with the Palestinian people in their plight and supported them.” Politically, financially and humanitarianly, in order to enable the Palestinian people to remain stable and resolute, he called for an end to the attack, he worked to bring in aid, found the wounded and sick, moved in international organizations to hold the occupier accountable for his crimes, and expressed a clear position on the need for their right to to give freedom and independence to the people of Palestine and to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
