A young man from the village of Rogosh, who caused minor bodily injury to an employee of “Municipal Security” in Plovdiv, will have to perform 100 hours of free work for the benefit of society within 2 consecutive years.
Around 6 p.m. on January 8 the duty part of the Second Regional Office received information about the injured security guard in the Tsar-Simeon garden. Arriving at the scene, the police found that the culprit was 21 years old. He was detained and taken to management and later to the Mental Health Center.
Before the District Court, the young man pleaded guilty and entered into an agreement with the prosecutor’s office. The minor bodily injury he inflicted on the security guard is expressed in swelling of the left temple. In addition to community service, he must also serve 2 and a half years of probation. Measures include mandatory registration at a current address and periodic meetings with a probation officer. The defendant must also pay BGN 1,391.40 in costs in the case.
The decision by which the agreement is approved is final and not subject to appeal or protest.
