An impressive opening for the Sukkot holiday festival in Ramla with 20 thousand people crowded the city of Ramla yesterday (Tuesday) on the first day of the sixth ‘Ramla City of the World’ festival.
During the day, visitors enjoyed guided tours of the city’s historical sites, including the White Tower and the Rainbow Pool, shows and activities for children and adults, heritage events to get to know the communities, and more.
In the evening, the main show took place at the foot of the White Tower, which opened the festival, where the singers Odia and Avi Aburomi were hosted, and which was attended by over 6000 people.
At the festival, which is taking place for the sixth year, dozens more artists, creators and musicians are expected to participate, among them: Eden Ben Zaken, Moshe Peretz, Idan Yaniv, Ethniks, Shlomi Saranga, Yuval Hambalel and more.
At the festival, which will last until tomorrow (Thursday), visitors will enjoy activities and shows for the little ones, heritage events to get to know the different communities living in the city for the whole family, for adults and the elderly, activities for the little ones, morning shows for children such as Kogomelo, Kofiko, and more, taverns, extreme youth complexes, street shows, colorful parades , living sculptures, community encampments and heritage activities, a multicultural food court, tours of the city’s historical sites, the Mayor’s Arbor with the Sahara Band, a concert in Arabic of the songs of Odi Alsafi, Food Trucks and more.
