The chairs in various parts of the galleries of the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, the home of cricket, have been unusable for a long time. Before the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the chair was supposed to be reinstated, but it did not happen in full. Finally, the work of placing the chairs has already started.

About 7,500 chairs are being replaced in the galleries of different parts. The domestic company RFL is spending about 3 crore rupees to install these chairs. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) approved the reinstatement of the chair in the last board meeting.

At the bottom of the Shaheed Jewel Stand (Club House), the old broken chairs are being removed. Although the installation of new chairs has not yet started. BCB Grounds Department said that new chairs will be installed after removing the old chairs.

7,000 of the chairs are folding chairs. which were installed before the 2011 World Cup, through the National Sports Council. As these became unusable, it was decided to install new chairs. Each folding chair is priced at Tk 3,830. In all, the cost here is 2 crore 68 lakh 10 thousand taka.

260 fixed chairs will sit in the east gallery. The price of each is 1 thousand 5 hundred 50 taka. Apart from this, 92 frame structures are being taken, each of which costs 2 thousand 740 taka. 6 lakh 56 thousand rupees are being spent here. In total, the cost of just buying the chair is more than 2 crore 74 lakh rupees. The cost of removing the previous chair and completing the installation process will increase to 3 crore rupees.

Apart from chairs, giant screen should be installed in Sher-e-Bangla. which broke down in Kalbaisakhi storm last March 31. However, no visible work on its installation has yet begun.
