Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi said that he thought about finishing the game when he retired without leaving an injury in his career. Shaheen revealed that there was a time when he thought about quitting the game several times due to a muscle injury, but some videos changed his mind.
There were times when I considered quitting the game several times due to muscle injuries. I was still trying to recover from a single muscle injury. But there was no progress.
I used to tell myself every now and then that enough is enough when I was exercising. My mind was telling me that I can’t do this anymore.
At that time I used to watch my bowling on YouTube. I was motivated to see how well I was performing. This gave me confidence to go further – said Shaheen Afridi.
