Two separate accidents in Vadakancherry and Puthukkad resulted in injuries and damaged vehicles.

In a separate incident in Puthukkad, a tanker lorry carrying fuel to Puthukkad airport was involved in a collision with a container lorry. The driver of the tanker lorry, a native of Uttar Pradesh, escaped the accident without injury. However, the front of the lorry sustained damage in the collision.
