The Prime Minister’s Office announced on this day that Acting President Han Deok-soo spoke by phone‍ with U.S. President Joe Biden on the 15th and reaffirmed the strong ROK-U.S.alliance. According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Acting President han and President Biden discussed the current domestic⁢ situation,‍ strengthening the ‍ROK-US⁣ alliance, and the North Korean nuclear ⁤issue.The call took place around 7:15 a.m. that day. It has been about 12 hours ‍since the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol led⁢ to‍ the transition to an acting system.
