On the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, the advance sale of train tickets has started from Sunday (March 24). This time too, no ticket for Eid trip will be sold at the counter. 100% tickets will be sold from the online platform. Tickets for travel on April 3 are on sale today.

It is known that the tickets can be collected from Bangladesh Railway website, Rail Seva App and Sahaj.com platform. Bangladesh Railway has decided the start date of ticket sales in consideration of travel on Eid day on April 11. Advance ticket sales will continue till March 30.

Railway sources say that tickets will be sold in two shifts to reduce online pressure. Eastern train tickets go on sale at 8 am. Western train tickets will be sold at 2 pm.

This time the number of seats of the train departing from Dhaka will be 33 thousand 500.

Kamalapur Railway Station Manager Masud Sarwar said that 100% tickets will be sold online. Measures have been taken to prevent black market from blocking tickets by Sahaja.com.

How to buy advance tickets
Passengers can easily collect tickets from railway website. In that case, one time registration will be done on the website of the railways. Those who have already registered can collect tickets only by logging in.

Registration process
First you have to enter the website of Bangladesh Railway. Then click on the registration tab at the top of the website. A new page called Registration will appear. On this page you have to fill the respective cells with personal information. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number. Fill it correctly and click on verify button.

If all the information is correct, the registration will be successful and a new page named Bangladesh Railway will appear. Here the user will be auto logged in.

How to buy tickets
First you have to enter the website of Bangladesh Railway. If there is no auto login, fill in the email and password in the panel and click on the login button. On the page that will appear after login, fill in the desired travel date, starting station, destination station, class and click on the Find Ticket button. The next page will show the train name, seat availability and train departure time.

According to the train, click on the view seats button and select the seat of your choice, subject to availability of seats and click on continue purchase. An e-ticket will be automatically downloaded if you pay by Visa, MasterCard or Bikash. Along with this, a copy of the ticket will be sent to the e-mail of the passenger. Printed tickets can be collected from the concerned source station by printing the ticket from the e-mail inbox along with the photo ID along with the ticket print information provided by the e-ticket.

Any ticket on any date
Bangladesh Railway said that the tickets for the next 3 April travel will be available today on March 24. Tickets for April 4 will be available on March 25, April 5 tickets will be given on March 26. Besides, tickets for April 6 will be given on March 27, tickets for April 7 will be sold on March 28, tickets for April 8 will be given on March 29 and tickets for April 9 will be sold on March 30.

Meanwhile, return tickets will be available from April 3. Tickets for April 13 will be available on April 3. Tickets for April 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 respectively will be available till April 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 respectively.
