After arriving in Taipei, the junior national team begins its preparations to meet Taiwan

The junior national team began its preparations to meet Taiwan on Wednesday, the first of its journey in the Asian Cup qualifiers after its arrival in Taiwan.

A statement from the Football Association, received by the (INA), stated that “the junior team arrived on Monday in the city of Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, to participate in the Asian Under-17 Cup qualifiers for the finals of the tournament hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia next year.”
He added, “The team went through its first training unit immediately after its arrival, on the grounds of the National Taiwan University Sports Stadium, in preparation for the meeting with the host and the fans, Taiwan, on Wednesday.”
He continued, “All the players participated in the training, as the training unit was limited to reducing the effort of travel and fatigue from the players, and the training was held on a field with artificial turf since the matches would be played on that same field.”
The training was attended by the head of the junior national team delegation, a member of the Iraqi Football Federation, Firas Bahr Al-Ulum, and the head of the Sulaymaniyah Football Association, Karwan Muhammad.
