“One would have to be very naive to assume that the fact that he criticized and satirized had nothing to do with it. We are not 4 years old, today you can draw your conclusions,” he declared. “I think it’s something that the owner of the television station has had for a long time,” he added.
Macalpin added that his live firing came as a surprise.
“Obviously it surprised me, especially taking into account that I have been in charge of the most successful program that Channel 66 has had for almost seven years. It surprised me greatly. I am not surprised by the dismissal, the problem is the form,” he mentioned in a clip.
