New Delhi: The mega auction for this year’s IPL tournament is in full swing. Ahmedabad and Lucknow have selected three players for their squad ahead of the IPL mega auction.
Both teams have chosen their captains. In this year’s series of IPL matches (iIPL 2022) both the new teams from Ahmedabad and Lucknow have internet.
There has been a lot of speculation about the selection of players for the two new teams.

These three players were selected by the Lucknow team
Lucknow has added three players to its squad ahead of this year’s Mega Auction. Lucknow team has acquired star opener KL Rahul for Rs 17 crore.
Lucknow have bought Australian all-rounder Marcus Stones for Rs 9.2 crore and bought young spinner Ravi Bishno for Rs 4 crore. KL Rahul will be the captain of the Lucknow team.

Hardik Pandya in Ahmedabad
Hardik Pandya is the first choice of the Ahmedabad team. Hardik Pandya was bought by Mega Auction for Ahmed team for Rs 15 crore.
Ahmedabad have bought star spinner Rashid Khan for Rs 15 crore and young opener Shubman Gill for Rs 8 crore. Hardik Pandya has been selected as the captain of the Ahmedabad team.

When will the IPL mega auction take place?
As previously announced, the IPL mega auction will not be held on February 7-8, but on February 11, 12 and 13.
Media reports say that some sources in the BCCI have clarified the matter. The decision was taken in consultation with the newly formed Ahmedabad and Lucknow teams.
With some of the best players selected in Ahmedabad and Lucknow, the excitement and speculation surrounding the IPL auction has reached a climax.
